Are Neti-Pots Safe to Use?

We often hear from families that they use neti-pots to flush out their sinuses. You may have heard in the news over the holidays reports of people dying from brain-eating amoeba in the water from their neti pots.  Both individuals are believed to have used tap water rather than the recommended sterile or distilled water.  Read these two articles to learn more about the safe use of neti-pots:
