Welcome Kitty Wusstig as Special Events Manager!
Kitty Wusstig joined the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias’ staff on January 2nd as the Special Events Manager. She has more than 15 years’ experience in managing events and marketing.
Kitty will work with families to develop and execute Don’t Sweat It Walks and other fundraisers in their communities. She will also lead the NFED’s Halloween Bash, Don’t Sweat It Golf Tournament, and Thirty Days of Change Campaign. Kitty will help coordinate the logistics for other NFED events like Family Conferences.
“We are pleased to have Kitty on our team,” Judy Woodruff, NFED Executive Director said. “She has incredible experience in successfully developing and marketing major events across the country. Her friendly and outgoing personality makes her a great fit with our staff.”
Wusstig said, “I am truly excited to be joining the NFED team! From the moment I walked through the door it was apparent that everyone here truly loves what they are doing, believes in the mission, and truly cares for the people they are serving. “I look forward to working one-on-one with the staff, Board of Directors, donors, and families to create events that will not only raise a lot of money and awareness for the NFED but will also be a lot of FUN!”
Kitty is a graduate of McKendree University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business administration with a double major in management and marketing. She resides in Belleville, Ill., with her husband and son.
