Dental Treatment Centers

Apply to the Program

Do you or your child affected by ectodermal dysplasia need dental care? Consider one of the NFED’s Dental Treatment Centers. The Foundation has partnered with universities and private practices across the United States to provide dental care for individuals affected by ectodermal dysplasias. Our goal is to increase your access to quality and affordable oral health care. Each center’s team of providers has experience in treating the ectodermal dysplasias.

It is the patient’s responsibility to make an informed decision as to the appropriateness of care and to make suitable arrangements for payment of associated fees.

How to Apply to Participate

Do NOT contact the center directly as you will not receive the benefits of our program if you do so.  Individuals who want to participate in the Dental Treatment Center Program must complete a profile in the Ectodermal Dysplasias International Registry and email Kayla Hollenkamp at the NFED with the following information:
  • Applicant’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Phone Number
  • E-mail
  • Guardian Name (If Applicable)
  • Include a letter from a physician confirming the diagnosis of ectodermal dysplasia
We will contact all applicants upon the receipt and review of the above information.  Applicants will be referred to a contact person at the appropriate center and will be responsible for contacting the university to arrange an appointment for an intra-oral evaluation.  We will also share the name of the applicant with the university staff.
