Do you or your child affected by ectodermal dysplasia need dental care? Consider one of the NFED’s Dental Treatment Centers. The Foundation has partnered with universities and private practices across the United States to provide dental care for individuals affected by ectodermal dysplasias. Our goal is to increase your access to quality and affordable oral health care. Each center’s team of providers has experience in treating the ectodermal dysplasias.
It is the patient’s responsibility to make an informed decision as to the appropriateness of care and to make suitable arrangements for payment of associated fees.
How to Apply to Participate
Contact Mary Fete at the NFED first. Do NOT contact the center directly as you will not receive the benefits of our program if you do so. Individuals who want to participate in the Dental Treatment Center Program must do the following:
The NFED contacts all applicants upon receipt and review of their application. Approved applicants will be referred to a contact person at the appropriate center. Once approved by the NFED, applicants will be responsible for contacting the university to arrange an appointment for an intra-oral evaluation. The NFED will share the name of the approved applicants with the university staff.
