Minnesota Skate Event

Families and friends joined together for the 5th straight year to raise money and awareness at the Minnesota Skate event held at St. Mary’s Point Ice Arena on Sunday, January 31.  The Hubbard, Noer and Oberst families host this grand event where folks take to the ice for a day of fun to raise money for research for the NFED.  This year, we were joined by the Loveridge family, the Kusnierek family and the Anderson family. An amazing $21,478.50 was raised for research.  The NFED thanks all those involved with making this event a success year after year!

Jaundoo “Fore A Good Cause” Golf Classic

The Jaundoo family from Houston, Texas, hosted the 1st “Fore A Good Cause” Golf Classic on Saturday, February 20.  They welcomed 12 teams to the Houston National Golf Club, and provided them with a beautiful day on the course.  After play, Dr. Alanna Bree from the Scientific Advisory Council spoke to everyone about ectodermal dysplasias and the NFED during dinner. Through the efforts of the Jaundoo family and the help of their volunteers, they have raised a net total of more than $8,000, and donations are still arriving.  Congratulations on a job well done!
