This year, we asked our families to help us raise money during Ectodermal Dysplasias Awareness Month. All they had to do was set up a Facebook fundraiser, which took just a few minutes. Nine families answered our call and generated about $8,000 for the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias!
Thank you to the Andrews, Claire, Clawson, Higgins, Hoppough – Budzynski, Pinon, Sanmiguel, Shimchick, and Tascione-Weil families! They each made their fundraiser their own. They shared their story, pictures, and creativity. It was a great way to educate their Facebook friends about their journey with ectodermal dysplasias.
Next, they invited and motivated their Facebook friends to donate. Asking for money, even when it’s for a great cause, isn’t always easy. But, they did it! And their friends generously gave to support them.
If it wasn’t for faithful supporters like these families, we wouldn’t exist. We thank them for generating funds we need to make a difference in the lives of families affected by ectodermal dysplasia.
