In this day and age, where time is a precious commodity, it’s important for us to recognize the dedication, gifts given, and impact made by our NFED volunteers. These kind individuals take time from their busy lives to help out the NFED and our community in so many different ways throughout the year.
Our volunteers have been generous and dedicated to our mission for more than 40 years. The NFED would not exist without YOU, our delightful volunteers!
You Make us Great
Thank you so much for the immeasurably valuable work you have done for the Foundation this past year!
As our executive director, Mary Fete, said, “The National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias exists because volunteers came together 40+ years ago to create this organization. From that very beginning until today, you have played a pivotal role in our operations and in our success. Our NFED staff is small and mighty, but we could never achieve our mission without the assistance of our talented volunteers. They selflessly give of their time and talents in all facets of the Foundation. With their help, we are able to support more families and expand our programs by keeping overhead low.”
We want to let you know that your dedication and inspiration is essential to the work that we do—we simply cannot do it without you! And we would not want to do it without you. You bring ideas, positive energy, and a beautiful passion. You light the way for us and those affected by ectodermal dysplasias, encouraging us to continue with our important work for the next 40+ years.
We are grateful year-round for our 350 volunteers but love to especially celebrate them each April during Volunteer Appreciation Month. Whenever the NFED has a need, you step forward and help. Our volunteers are families affected by ectodermal dysplasias, doctors, dentists, community members and friends who have big hearts and believe in our mission. Thank you, NFED volunteers! We appreciate you and are grateful for all you do.”
Mary Fete, NFED executive director
