We’re excited to announce our latest partnership with The Aspen Group to create Smile Bridge by The Aspen Group ℠, a groundbreaking program designed to connect patients with ectodermal dysplasia to the dental care they need, at no cost.
The Aspen Group (TAG) and the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED) have been collaborating for over a year to create a charitable referral connection for families. We are pleased to announce the formal launch of Smile Bridge to provide a limited number of qualified patients in the United States with free clinical dental care, including implants, up to the age of 22.
The NFED’s mission of offering advocacy and support to individuals affected by ectodermal dysplasias could not be better reflected in this unique opportunity with our gracious partners.

We anticipate a significant number of applications and yet can only refer a limited number of individuals to the program. Once a sufficient number of applications are received, the application link will be closed as the Advisory Group convenes to review and recommend the qualified applicants.
If upon receiving your application, you are identified by the NFED Advisory Group and referred to TAG’s network of supported practices at Aspen Dental and ClearChoice Dental Implants, these are the key aspects and requirements:

- All clinical care will be at no-cost to the patient from their entry into the program through age 22.
- It is very important for patients to attend all appointments and follow at-home care instructions to remain in the program as outlined in the attached care consent form.
- Just like other giving programs under TAG’s Healthy Mouth Movement umbrella, Smile Bridge would like to share your wonderful stories both internally and with the media when appropriate. A photo/video consent form will also be attached for your review.
- Finalization of acceptance into the program is contingent on the patient and the treating doctor’s initial comprehensive exam to ensure both parties are comfortable moving forward with treatment goals.
