This is a dynamic role where you’ll support our Director of Development and Communications in executing strategic plans that drive our mission forward.
Position Overview
As the Development Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing key development projects, overseeing grant processes, engaging with donors, and supporting family-led fundraising initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to helping the NFED achieve its larger organizational goals and strengthen our ability to support the ectodermal dysplasias community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, nonprofit development, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. If you’re passionate about making a difference and enjoy managing multiple responsibilities, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Implementation: Assist in the execution of development strategies that align with the NFED’s mission and values.
- Project Management: Manage all development projects, campaigns, and deliverables using tools like Asana and Google Suite to ensure timely execution.
- Grant Management: Oversee the grant writing, reporting, and compliance process to secure and maintain funding sources.
- Donor Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing donors, utilizing donor management tools like Raiser’s Edge to enhance retention.
- Family Fundraisers: Provide support and resources to maximize the success of family-led fundraising initiatives.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing major events, conferences, and engagements that promote NFED’s work and increase our influence.
- Development Writing: Contribute to development materials and reports, ensuring they align with NFED’s brand and messaging.
