Five things about me that I would like people to know:

  • I enjoy reading, drawing, music, and video games.
  • I compose music and write stories.
  • For my senior project, I created a graphic novel.
  • I enjoy working with young children.
  • I can be very tenacious to accomplish my goals.

Five things about my high school experience that I would like to share:

  • I volunteered two mornings per week at local elementary school as a teacher’s aid.
  • I earned 36 college dual credits.
  • I am a member of Beta Club and National Honor Society.
  • I am the recipient of Palmetto Fellow Scholarship.
  • I worked part-time at Chick-fil-A.

My plans following graduation:

I received a full academic scholarship to attend North Greenville University, where I will study education.

My long-term goals:

I plan to attend graduate school for further training to work in middle schools. In the summers, I will continue pursuing my writing. I hope to publish books for young people someday.

  • I am a member of the National Honor Society.
  • I made Principal’s List every marking period in high school (at least 95 avg).
  • I am the Editor-in-Chief of school newspaper.
  • I worked for an inner city outreach program.
  • I am a worship leader for my church youth group.

My plans following graduation:

I plan to attend Biola University in Los Angeles, California with a Journalism and Integrated Media major.

My long-term goals:

I wish to combine my love of music, photography, and writing into a career.

Five things about me that I would like people to know:

  • I am going to Cleveland State University.
  • I am looking to major in social work with a minor in criminal justice.
  • I am a counselor for a summer camp in Pennsylvania for kids with chronic skin disorders that I myself attended as a child. This camp inspired me to get into social work.
  • I love to sing and perform.
  • I love to go out with friends and spend time with my family.

Five things about my high school experience that I would like to share:

  • I am involved in several different choirs, including a competitive show choir.
  • I am graduating with honors.
  • I am a member of the National Honors Society.
  • I am receiving the Presidential Scholarship to Cleveland State University for my academic achievements.
  • I was involved in Girls Leadership Club as well as Key Club, both of which are volunteer organizations.

My plans following graduation:

I will attend Cleveland State University and major in social work with a minor in criminal justice.

My long term goals:

I want to work with at risk juveniles to show them that there are people out there that care about them and to help get their lives back on track. I want them to know that they can still create a bright future for themselves.

  • I completed some concurrent enrollment classes via my high school and the Salt Lake Community College, along with some AP math.
  • I played varsity and JV hockey all 4 years of high school.

My plans following graduation:

I will be getting dental implants soon after graduation. Then, I am going to get a job for the summer. Next school year, I plan to attend Westminster College in Salt Lake City.

My long term goals:

I want to graduate from college and eventually find a good job.

Five things about me that I would like people to know:

  • I love playing soccer.
  • My two brothers and I used to raise and show dairy goats.
  • My favorite food is Pizza Hut’s cheesy bread sticks.
  • I’d love to study abroad.
  • I first became involved in politics at age 5 when I wrote a letter inviting President George W. Bush to my birthday party.

Five things about my high school experience that I would like to share:

  • I served as a Student Page in the Maryland General Assembly.
  • People think that because I was homeschooled that I was done school by noon. The reality was that because I took 12 AP courses in addition to my home school oversight classes, I was often doing school until late in the evening.
  • I was very involved in 4-H and served as Mr. 4-H, member of 4-H State Council, 4-H All Star, and attended National 4-H Congress.
  • I volunteer as a small group leader for a local camp every summer.
  • I am probably more excited than most people about going away to college, since it will be my first time ever being in school!

My plans following graduation:

I will be attending The University of Maryland – College Park and am enrolled in the Smith School of Business, majoring in Finance. I am also in the University Honors Program. I’m considering a double major in Economics.

My long-term goals:

Following graduation, I would like to work on Wall Street and eventually go on to law school.

Things about me that I would like people to know:

  • I enjoy spending time with my friends and extended family members.
  • I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and baking.
  • I’m looking forward to the warmer weather so my family and I can go to the beach and have cookouts in our backyard.

Things about my high school experience that I would like to share:

I have learned so much and truly loved the people I have met and places that I have been over the past four years. School was not always easy, because of the challenges I faced.

Through hard work and determination, I earned honors or high honors every term and was accepted into the National Honor Society and the Foreign Language Honor Society. I was elected vice-president of a “big-brother big-sister” like program at our school and have enjoyed visiting my little buddy every month for the past three years. I was also fortunate enough to attain an internship with the HR Department of a facilities management company and have appreciated the experience and skills that I have developed over the past year through it.

Although I didn’t entirely love the early morning bus rides or stressful exams, I appreciate my high school experience and am proud of what I have been able to achieve.

My plans following graduation:

After graduation, I will continue my internship through the summer and in the fall I will be attending the University of New Hampshire. I plan to pursue a degree in psychology and business.


My long-term goals:

My hope is to use my education and training to work with children or families in the future.

    I remember meeting at least 2 of these amazing humans at conferences when they were “littles”! I have a 2013 graduate and we attended all but 3 conferences from 1998 to about 2007/8. It’s great to see what these “kids” have done and accomplished!!
